Eden River clients can choose to have access to over 150 full Ethical Reports on selected Nordic and European listed companies. Ethical Reports which are prepared annually for each company reviewed by us provide a unique view of the ethical performance of a company and are based on an examination of the company’s Sustainability Report, as well as other relevant documents and reports such as the Annual Report, the Remuneration Report and the Codes of Conduct.
All clients have access to the Company Dashboard which provides them with an important overview of the sustainability performance of each of over 5000 companies globally in relation to 11 key performance metrics.*
*The bands used in the Company Dashboard and Industry Analysis are based on information compiled and maintained by other third party organizations in respect of which we have no control and for which we claim no responsibility.
Benchmarking is a key concept utilized by Eden River in the analysis of corporate performance and in predicting of new areas of concern. In the Industry Analysis section, we present analysis on nine different ESG metrics for some 13000 companies in 23 different industries. Clients can use the analysis and information provided in this section to build their own reports through the ER Homebase and ER Homebase Report Templates.
The Eden River Ethical Portfolio Performance Tracker is another product which we have developed to assist our clients in tracking the market performance of their own assembled portfolio of investments. This product is available for use on the ER Homebase ©, which is described below.
*The Tracker is based on information compiled and maintained by other third party organizations in respect of which we have no control and for which we claim no responsibility.
The ER Homebase is the personalized dashboard where a client can use several different tools and data which the client thinks is relevant to its business. It is here where the client can compare the performance of any number of companies which it chooses on any of the nine specific ESG metrics which have been identified in the Industry Analysis. For clients that wish to, the ER Homebase can be modified to enable certain specific modules and templates to be added for analysis required only for that client. This is done in consultation with our expert team. In addition, all clients can select and refine which news alerts it wishes to receive as well as prioritize any benchmark or other data it would like to receive.
Eden River’s researchers and analysts as well as our senior directors, review hundreds of reports, codes of conduct, policies, research articles, news articles and laws and regulations. In the Library, we have assembled in one place a substantial amount of this research material which is easily accessed by our clients or by members of their research teams. We believe that this service will save valuable time and resources which may be required in order to produce reports for investment committees or investment teams. Although Eden River has assembled and will maintain the Library, the information contained within the Library consists of publicly available information compiled by the companies reviewed by us and in respect of which we accept no responsibility.
At Eden River we are committed to trying to improve the quality of the information our clients provide and receive. We also believe that we can help guide companies to make and provide better, more accurate, statements and data in the sustainability reports they produce. To this end, we produce a series of Ethical Guides which identify issues we have come across during our research and try and assist companies in improving the quality of the information they provide. The Ethical Guides series is available to all companies who subscribe to Eden River equally and we do not comment in any way on any specific company’s performance or rating in any guide or in any briefing paper or other report.
Eden River can provide corporate clients, upon request, a formal written opinion addressed only to the Board of Directors. The opinion will report on the ethical performance of the company based on its public documents as well as ranking in the performance bands. This formal opinion is in form and substance the same as our Ethical Report and will address – in the same independent manner – the issues covered in the relevant Ethical Report.
